7 Race Card for Boxing Day

The Down Royal meeting on Boxing Day this year will have seven races instead of the usual six.

A hunter chase has been added to the card because of the major change in the point-to-point season which has meant meetings being held between the flags in the Autumn as well as the Spring.

Mike Todd, manager of Down Royal said: "Our race will be for winners of two but maidens will be welcome as well."
