Dunloy Cuchallains GA & CC Function on Mirror May Day

Dunloy Cuchallains are holding their well established Dunloy Cuchallains GA & CC Function on our Mirror May Day race meeting on 3rd May 2010. The hospitality will be hosted by Dunloy Cuchallains GA & CC in the Beef or Salmon Suite on the ground floor of the new Hospitality Pavilion overlooking the finishing straight of the racetrack. This area is raised above ground level and is entirely glass fronted ensuring an excellent view of the track.
Tickets for the event are £100 and include your entrance fee, admission to the Beef or Salmon Suite, Banquet, Prizes & Music. There are limited places available, so book early to avoid disappointment. For more information please see www.dunloygac.com

Down Royal Racecourse, in association with Guinness and Sean Graham, are offering an exciting upgrade to the popular Punter’s Pack for the Saint Patrick’s Day race meeting on 17th March.
Racing to go ahead today at Down Royal

DOWN ROYAL has been given the green light for Wednesday’s meeting to take place, although racing has been delayed by 25 minutes. Officials have been monitoring the forecast all morning with the threat of snow causing concern. However, shortly after 11am a decision to let racing go-ahead was made. The first race has been delayed by 25 minutes just to give everyone who may have been hanging on the chance of getting to the course and the meeting will now commence at 1.30 pm. The ground at Down Royal remains heavy, soft to heavy in places.
Inspection at 7:30am on 3rd February 2010

Due to a change in the overnight forecast, Down Royal will now be subject to an inspection at 7:30am on 3rd February. The track is currently raceable but there is a risk of snow overnight. The ground is heavy, soft in places. Please contact the racecourse office after 8am on 028 92 621256 for the result of the inspection. This website will be updated immediately after the inspection at 7:30am tomorrow.
