Since the early 1990’s the racecourse has undertaken major development and modernisation. Phase 1 in 1993 saw the completion of a new Grandstand which incorporated fourteen Corporate Boxes, VIP Hospitality Suite, Public Bar and an elevated viewing area overlooking the track and finish post.
In 1998 the Governor's Stand was completed offering an exclusive Membership area known as the "Freeman's Suite" on the 1st Floor and the "Winning Post Café" located on the Ground Floor. This stand also offers a viewing area with spectacular view over the racecourse.
Our most recent facility at the racecourse is the Weigh Room and Administration Complex. Completed in 2000 this multifunctional building holds all the facilities for raceday officials, jockeys, and administration staff. On the first floor a spacious Member’s Suite can accommodate over 300 people and is reserved for Member’s, Owners and Trainers.
